Ingredients & Directions

4 avocados, diced
1 medium red onion, quartered & julienned
2 jalapeno peppers, de-seeded, minced
4 ounces fresh lime juice
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
 
Mix lime juice, sugar, salt, onions and jalapenos in a medium bowl. Allow mixture to sit for 5 to 6 minutes so ingredients can “pickle”. Add avocado and cilantro. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
 
Yields: 8-10 servings
