Ingredients & Directions
Crust:
3 cups Flour
¼ cup plus 2 Tbps sugar
¾ cup butter, softened
¾ tsp salt
Filling:
4 Eggs, slightly beaten
1¼ cups sugar
1 cup Karo corn syrup
3 Tbps butter, soften
1½ tsp vanilla
2½ cups chopped pecans
Heat oven to 350°F
Grease jelly roll pan (15½” x 10½” x 1″)
Beat flour, sugar, butter and salt in large bowl on medium speed until crumbly (mixture will be dry)
Press firmly in pan
Bake until light golden brown, about 25 min
Prepare filling mix and pour over baked layer, spread evenly
Bake until filling is set, about 25 min
Let cool and then cut into 1½” squares
