Ingredients & Directions

1 bag of thin pretzel sticks
1 stick of butter, non-salt
1 cup of brown sugar
⅛ to ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper
1 Tbsp water

Preheat oven to 300º F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper (I use foil sprayed with Pam}. In a large bowl, pour in the pretzels. In a small saucepan, bring butter, sugar, cayenne and 1 tablespoon of water to a boil, stirring constantly. Pour over pretzels in bowl and gently toss to combine. Spread pretzel mixture on prepared sheet. Bake 10 minutes,, take out, turn over with spatula and bake another 10 minutes.
Cool before serving. Store at room temperature, in closed container, for up to 2 weeks.
