Ingredients & Directions
¾ cup sugar
1 cup water
8-10 Lemons, Juiced (to make one cup)
3 ½ cups water
7 strawberries, sliced
8 fresh basil leaves
Lemon Slices
Start by making a simple syrup – In a small saucepan heat the sugar and 1 cup of water until dissolved.
Remove and let cool.
In a large pitcher add the simple syrup, lemon juice and water.
You can adjust to your taste by adding more sugar for a sweeter version or add more water to make less tart.
Next, add the strawberries, basil and lemon slices.
Pour over ice and serve.
Serves 6-8
